The statistics told us that the average Sky user is a Male aged between 40 and 59 (just about fitting into the Baby Boomers category), who uses Sky.com and watches TV for 36-40 hours per week. Contrastingly, when looking at the average user for the Sky Go application, the average user was a Male aged between 25-39 (fitting the profile of a Millennial). The average user spends an average of 31-35 hours per week watching TV, and an average of 36-40 hours per week Online. This profile gave some confirmation to our initial thoughts; that an application would be more attractive to the Millennials. However, within this brief our task is to find a solution which fits both Baby boomers and Millennial generations, and hopefully a well-designed application will be able to do this.
